Dear Parents,

I would like to share with you a wonderful new program that I would like to begin using in our class this year. It is called Mouse Mischief by Microsoft. Mouse Mischief allows me to add multiple choice questions into my PowerPoint presentations, allowing me to create interactive presentations that engage all students. The students can work as teams or individually to answer questions. Using this program would allow me to see who understands the topic that we are working on and who may need a little practice. The program Mouse Mischief itself is a free download from Microsoft. The only equipment needed for this program is wireless mice.

You can visit their website at http://www.microsoft.com/multipoint/mouse-mischief/en-us/default.aspx

This year our school is on a very tight budget so, I am writing to ask for donations of wireless mice for our classroom. I would need a class set of 18, which each class would share. Specifically, I am asking for the Microsoft Explorer Mini Mouse. Currently it is available on Amazon.com & Walmart.com for $15.82 and at Staples for $29.99 (item #770333).

Thank you for your time, and whether you are able to give or not, know I deeply appreciate your dedication to your child and our school.

Thank you,

Mrs. Dana Mills
